‘Fall in LOVE with Fashion’ at Cheval Winery and ‘Project Runway’ designer’s collections

“Project Runway” designer Gordana Gehlhausen presented three unique collections to a sold-out audience at the Cheval Winery on Sept. 8. The runway was set against the breathtaking backdrop of this scenic Escondido location. Cheval Winery is known for its superb wines and picturesque views.

The theme for the show was “Fall in LOVE with Fashion.” The first collection featured couture ready-to-wear pieces, followed by the second collection, which was named Whimsical. The grand finale was the third collection, aptly titled Red Carpet. The audience was left speechless as they fell in love with these amazing fashions.

Gordana Gehlhausen is celebrated for her timeless and sophisticated designs. In addition to her appearance on “Project Runway” and “Project Runway Allstars,” she resides in Los Angeles where she continues to design for red carpet events, leaving her mark on the fashion industry.

Between each collection, the audience enjoyed live musical performances by FEINER, a Korean-American singer-songwriter under the distribution of Universal Musica Group. Many of her songs are featured on Netflix, national commercials, and movies. She draws her inspiration from classic rock, soul, and funk.

Guests were treated to culinary delights by top chefs. This extraordinary event was produced by Mary Beth Kellee, with proceeds benefiting the Berry Good Food Foundation. ADVANCED STYLE

The Front Porch Gallery held its first fashion show on Saturday, Sept. 7. This well-attended show was inspired by the Advance Style movement that began in New York. They celebrate the fashions and creativity of older adults by redefining aging through self-expression. The attendees were quite diverse in their styles.
